Happy Friday: Sharpie Times

by Cat on November 30, 2012

This is the kind of mindless but productive fun I want to have with a Sharpie right now (via Stephanie Lnn). Who knew a silver metallic could bring so much joy to ramekins?
Happy Friday and weekend everyone!

Make: Advent Calendars

by Cat on November 29, 2012

I went crazy over these handmade advent calendars (via Plenty of Colour)…  They all look like items found in the home and rearranged in an advent setting with little tags and place markers. I have a slew of Zilla’s mismatched socks that I might try my hand for this project!

Shop Local: Minimal

by Cat on November 26, 2012

Black Friday was “minimal” for me literally… For obvious reasons I am an advocate of shopping local and shopping your favorite mom and pop shops. I was going to try and skip Black Friday altogether but a trip to Hayes Valley proved to be both stress-free and treasure laden. Loved visiting Minimal and seeing (below) the modern nativity set, golden mind bookends and vintage illo kid accessories!
