Oatmeal is one of my favorite things in the world to eat. I was just a little giddy to try a baked oatmeal recipe in Heidi Swanson’s latest book, Super Natural Every Day. Below is a pic of the version I made (blueberries, huckleberries, amaretto raisins and almonds) and Heidi recommends adjusting to your family’s tastes and what’s local and in season. I can’t tell you how much I love Heidi’s cookbooks. They are in tune to the natural tastes that I covet and I hope that I can entice ‘Zilla to partake in this as well. Ok…anyone have any good oatmeal recipes out there?
