Mom, Inc Daily Giveaway: Need Your Help!

by Cat on December 12, 2011

Calling all of you creative moms and designing moms out there! I just announced that I’m co-authoring a book with Meg Ilasco, Mom, Inc….and now I need your help. From time to time, really great companies send me samples of their products and I thought I would round some of them up for a fun giveaway! You’ll win all six of these…including a printmaking kit, a stain glass making kit for kids and bestselling candle at the boutique for mommy.

To win this? I just want your advice and feedback for Mom, Inc Daily! To enter, please email me at or leave a comment for me letting me know what features you love reading the most here on the blog and/or what kinds of stories, biz advice or highlights you’d like to see more of. In the next months I’ll be including more looks into the topics within the book as well as peeks into my life (and juggle) at the studio. I want to know: More features on moms, more biz advice (what kind?), more peeks into studio life? I’ll be selecting a winner in the next two weeks and I would LOVE to hear from all of you and get your help…

1. Kiwi Crate : kid activities including “spinning colors” and “create your own stained glass” projects

2. Handmade Soirees Book

3. Lotta’s Printing Studio: A mini printmaking kit including book by Lotta Jansdotter, tools and stencils

4. Cat Seto stationery

5. Voluspa Tuberose Glass Candle

6.Glob Paints: eco-friendly and all natural paints for kids

CONGRATULATIONS! I love the blog and read it for inspiration and I cannot wait for the book. I think hearing about everyone’s crazy lives but that we are all living our dream is very reassuring. i would love to “peek” into how you and others do it and LIVE it. All the ups and downs please! I struggle with so many daily decisions from how much time do I devote to my dream business to how in the world am I going to survive the holidays with two kids under five sick?

i can’t tell you how pumped up I get when I read about your day (good and bad) and all the other mums here. I have been trying for years, actually ages it feels like, to start a business. When you say peeks, I would really find value in peeking into how this is done, even if it’s just a photo or a few words of advice. Maybe the best way I can sum it is your blog is so stylish and practical and I really like that! Keep up the great work! Roxy.

I love your site and the message that you put out. I wouldn’t change it at all, but the purpose
of the giveaway 🙂 I would love to see stories about moms around the world who travel or do interesting things with their livelihoods. I need to travel for my photography and it takes some creative scheduling to make it happen.

I love all of the features.
• Hearing about the moms
on the go and starting up their blog and companies are my favorite.
• Interior decorating tips
• Kid party tips
• MORE advice for business. Will you be featuring things from the book?

lisa and adam December 12, 2011 at 11:47 pm

I struggle with mom guilt so anything
that helps me to relieve it such as beautiful photography or
wisdom about starting a business is worthwhile distraction.
I love hearing about your “DAILY” feature. That might be a fave!

I rss subscribe to you already!
The costumes, was your son a sushi? And there was a fantastic owl.
I about passed out when I saw those and loved seeing the personal
DIYs on them. That’s so exciting to hear about the book.
I would definitely be curious to learn more about that here.
Great job and keep it up!

Stacey Keena December 14, 2011 at 4:28 am

How about just more of everything? I gave you an email just now!

I have a question…are comments selected randomly or are you picking based on them :)?

Amy D December 16, 2011 at 6:54 am

I love the room tours!

shelagh December 16, 2011 at 8:33 am

I love reading the Make entries (although it rarely translates to action on my end…sigh). I also enjoy reading profiles on other moms — they somehow make me feel saner (or totally inept, depending on how rad the super-mom is) — and would love to read more of those on here. Any practical advice on how to be productive in the “studio” (dining room table) with a 15-month-old and a newborn? ha.
And now I’m belatedly putting Lotta’s Printing Studio on my wishlist… maybe I’ll win it instead!

N. Moherty December 16, 2011 at 9:45 am

I enjoy ‘The Daily’ and your ‘Story’ posts a lot!!!! I have a blog that I keep up with daily and its all about my son. so I find inspiration in your posts to be more creative with what I post. But what I love THE MOST about your blog is the ‘Featured Designing Moms’ because im an artist. I love diy projects, art, photography and finding ways to be creative on any budget and its awesome to know that there are other moms out there just like me!! I would LOVE to win this giveaway & add all of these fun gifts to my list of things to make. I could definitely save the activities for Paxton when he gets here 🙂
