Shop: 2011 Strollers and Rockers

It all started when I passed the window display of Giggle (above) on Chestnut Street in the Marina where I spend many of my mornings.  I spied a rocker that did not exist when I was desperate for one.  I heard myself whisper under my breath, Where was this in 2009? ‘Zilla will be turning two and the inevitable has happened…all of the new 2011 stuff has rolled out.  I’m convinced every rocker, crib, stroller seems more brilliant and better but maybe it’s because I’m mourning my boy not only growing older but also out of the things I stalked and hunted for during pregnancy. Below are some of my favorite “updated” items…  Does anyone else have any “oh-they-did-it-even-better-this-year” baby/kid items to share and update?

clockwise:

Dwell Studio Savoy Glider

Nurseryworks Bungalow Rocker (*I think I might like this one the BEST…at least for this year!)

Joya Rocker

Micralite fast fold stroller *I invested in my stroller but more so because of living in the city and requiring sturdy tires to roll down the crooked cement paths and ocean walks that occur many times during the week.  I have no regrets for scrimping on the crib but plunking down more dough for the stroller…in my case it was a Micralite Toro. It has been worth every penny.  This version is a fast fold for 2011 and it looks awesome!

Stokke Exploratory Basic

Maclaren Lulu Guinness stroller

I got the Mclaren catalog in the mail last week and was tempted to try for a second child if hubby promised to get me some of the new strollers!! I love their designs!
