The Daily: Studio Life

by Cat on November 30, 2010

A day in the life of my studio is never the same and thought I’d share some customer service 101 from the boutique.  I wanted a studio open to the city and have always trained my team that no matter what, when a customer or client walks through that door looking for help, you put down your project (even if the deadline is imminent) and help them.  On this particular day a customer was deciding between 3 dresses and wanted my assistant to flag down someone on the street to be a third opinion.  She requested it be a male opinion too.  We still have this debate at the studio…  I (the mom) think that poor guy looks a little overwhelmed and standoff’ish.  The single gals think he’s got a crush on her and posturing.  Maybe I’m wrong, but what do you think about his body language?

I’m a single gal and I agree he looks like he was caught off guard. He’s got his arms crossed so that’s not so good right?

He’s looking reserved but interested. He will probably go back and brag about the incident to his buddies ;).
